The Mason knife was made by New York knife co ..Here is another New York knife co .with a knights of Pythias etched .Both have hammer brand on the master blades tang .New York knife co on secondary blades tang .

Tg: Not to be picky here but those three rings are the symbol of the I.O.O.F., Odd fellows. You can just make out the F.L.T. inside the rings to mean "Friendship-Love-Truth". Anyway, its a very nice piece and NYK is top of the line for me. ::handshake:: J.O'.

Thank you for the clarification.I found the history of the old fellows to be quite interesting.

They were interesting. They had a very large and ornate brick headquarters hall on the corner of Liberty and Saratoga streets in Baltimore. Can't say if its still there. It was always kind of spooky to me as a kid when we'd go downtown to shop. J.O'.

Being as I'm being picky on details here, I was mistaken on the address. The hall is actually at Cathedral and Saratoga Sts. Cathedral street becomes Liberty street in the next block. Same street, just a name change. Don't know why? J.O'.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Imperial used such a shield on knives they called Diamond Edge.

The two knives pictured are Shapleigh Hardware, Diamond Edge knives. Beautiful celluloid!
