Just picked up a Queen City 85th anniversary Barlow from 2007. It's got a fun little peep viewer in the end. I was hoping it would be a picture from a French postcard, but it was a picture of a bunch of knife makers instead.
Nice Daddy Barlow, bigshot, and welcome to AAPK
I believe that little peep viewer in the end is called a "stanhope viewer."

When I first saw this knife I thought it must have been re-handled because I did not know Queen used this type of material for handle covers in 1993 (I believe it's acrylic). Wasn't sure I'd like it as I'm not a fan of synthetic handle materials, but once I got it in hand, I was delighted with it. (Might have to re-think my dislike of synthetics

).
Mahalo Philip (treefarmer) for verifying the meaning of "RI" etched on the blade (

I've got to show off this Queen that I just got from JerryD in the POS exchange. It is a 2 blade, 3 and 5/8 inches OAL, with all metal scrolled handles. It is marked #96E on the pile side of the master blade and is also marked 1998 which I assume is the date of manufacture. I dont have that many Queen knives, so I was elated to get this one. Jerry said it is a doctors knife, and I thank him for sending it to me.

I just had a déjà vu moment as it was a Case Dr. knife I got from jerryd back in 2014, IIRC, that eventually brought me to AAPK.
My "newest Queen" is this #51 pattern with a Schatt & Morgan keystone shield and "Big Q" tang stamp. I suspect this is probably a leftover parts knife that was assembled using old stock by the new owner of Queen/Schatt & Morgan (Cooper Cutlery Co.) in Winchester, Ohio.
For a cobbled knife, everything fits together nicely and it functions perfectly. As far as I'm concerned, it's a one-of-a-kind collector edition!!

Added this one to my Queen family this past Friday. Queen Steel #21 Sleeveboard with winterbottom bone handles I fished out of the bay. The main blade has the "Q steel " tang stamp, along with the Queensteel #21 blade etch. Both blades do have some light scratches, but are tight with great snap. The handles don't have any chips or cracks that I can see, but the pile side does have some stains.
