Doug, is not his stuff great. And each one painted to perfection. OC is not a whittler but a Craftsman. Always am impressed with and love his stuff.

Yes sir! It's definitely not whittling. Very realistic and inspiring to see.

There are various carving books available for the mini decoys, which is what these are. I use a pattern book by Anthony Hillman on carving miniature duck decoys. This goose however is not in Hillmans book, but is a full size pattern that I reduced.

Thanks Floyd! Painting isn't my favorite part of the process but it does add a little more detail to things.

Hopefully the flag won't trigger anyone. I was recently denied entry to a contest with this because or "Racist associations of the flag." In Canada!!!!
