TJ, I love me some Brasso!! And I traded a tactical worth about $90. These were my first CV Cases and my first GEC as well!

I'm interested in trading the GEC if anyone is liking the look of it...

WOW!! That sounds like a sweet trade on your part. Even if you only put $30 on each knife, which we know is far under value, you still did extremely well. I use Brasso on every part of the knife. I find it especially good for cleaning the bone handles and gives them a little POP.

Great knives! Love that last one, the yellow jack with the sheepsfoot secondary...what pattern number is that? Is it a mini-trapper with the spey blade re-shaped? Looks like the nail nick is right at the tip...?

Mike, yup that was just sanded down right at the end of the blade into that shape. I like it myself.

Very good, I like the looks of that too. I've always thought a trapper with a sheepsfoot secondary would be a great combination!

I received these two as gifts from my friend Billswfl. The Case is from 1971, the congress is an Electric Cutlery Company. I love the bone and jigging on the congress. Thank you Bill!

Due to some recent health issues, i'd been feeling a little down. But with friends like Joe, a man can't help but feel a little better! JoeDirt has been a great friend and his generousity knows no limits.
This Imperial 4-blade congress with cracked ice shell handles showed up yesterday. The note inside said, "for some reason I thought of you". The second pic might help explain why. The 4-blade congress is one of only two i've ever seen, the only one in the cracked ice handles i've ever seen and one of only three patterns (that I know of) that I don't have in my collection.
