I recently found another copper (beryllium) blade wire jack. If anyone has, seen, or knows where the axe model is please let me know. Photo of the recent find and an updated family photo less the Chow Kits.
Nice family portrait!

I've never seen the axe model.
Thank you. The axe is a prototype and so far I’ve only seen and heard of one.
Is it a wire handle folding axe?

Today I received this Geo. Schrade, single blade, wire handle pocket knife. It received a minor, gentle, cleaning. The "before" pictures are 8 posts above this one. These are MY pictures.

That's the one. Oregon has the only one I know of. He's helped me with his knowledge, locating and identifying individual knives and his friendship.

I don't believe that I've "talked" to him directly, but I have read his many, many posts. I have found them to be quite informative, educational and best of all, enjoyable.

As of my previous post, the one above this one, I now have a total of 20, Geo. Schrade, wire handle, jack knives. Out of the 20, there are 9 different tang stamps. I thought it would be interesting to show them. They are not in any particular order. According to the tang stamps at this link,
http://collectors-of-schrades-r.us/arti ... 20Jack.pdf
there are 13 tang stamps. Now to locate and obtain the other 4.

I just acquired these two, Geo. Schrade, single blade, wire handle, jack pocket knives. Each has a different patent date (1926 & 1942). They both appear to be in pretty good shape. When I receive them, I'll give each one the once over. I'll post MY pictures in the appropriate location(s). These are the seller's pictures.

Today I'm adding these two Geo. Schrade, single blade, wire jack pocket knives to the collection. One is a hawkbill pruner. They were both in pretty good shape and didn't require any special cleaning. They are pictured below.

Hey Skip. Just a friendly heads-up. There is a Case wirejack in the AAPK store. Looks great from quick glance. But the feller want's over $270 for it.

This Geo. Schrade, wire jack, pocket knife, should be joining my collection sometime next week. It appears that the blade may need a little cleaning. When I receive it, it'll get the once over. I'll take some pictures and post them.
