dale that knife is correct, pattern # r892. the only one in the pack that isn't original is the light brown wood handled eo with the # r205. that one should have pyremite scales. the puzzling thing about that knife is that both blades look like they have been barely touched

i am thrilled to be able to show parts of my collection here at aapk also. if you liked those easy,,, there are only about 200 other easys to show. now if i could only learn how to post multiple pics and do a bit of editing on them..
i have to just keep experimenting......

Bone chips above bail pivot pin (on both sides) , appears a common problem in these used WW II knives
Spear is a little weak, small pen has great snap
Excellent edge

That's the knife that pushed me over the EO edge!

I just scrolled thru this thread and discovered that I never posted a pic of the Orvet Custom knife I own.

Dale converted this CAMCO into an EO for me after he purchased it from me on eBay and then sent it to me as a gift.

WWII, 1941-1946 are the accepted years.

I think that's a knife I'd be proud to own. There's something about that Rogers bone that's really attractive and for me, almost mystic. I just love it and in combination with the pocket wear, the mellow color, the EZ-Open notch and the spear blade... WOW!!

dangit and golly gee, i won the july knife give away that was donated by tjmurph. a gec amberbone easy open 25 pattern. when i get i will post it along with my other four gec 25 pattern easy's..

A Utiaca EO I got recently. I love the old knives in this pattern , great knives everybody.

I have been enjoying the Uticas that I see, they appear to be very fine knives.
Here is a L.F.&C. ebony EO. It looks to have been buffed but is still a very pretty old knife.

here is my collection of gec 25 pattern easy opens. and i added a 26 pattern, it just seems to belong with them.
the amber barnwood is the one i just won in the july drawing that was donated by mr. tjmurphy. thank you very much.
the blue micarta is the one i bought from an auction for tank, done by our own muskratman and also done with some fantastic filework.
the green one is a bulldog done by gec.
i love the looks of that red barnwood.
the last one of the bunch is burnt stag. and honestly, i still can't tell the difference from one stag over the other. only the shield gives it away.

Yeah, the tang stamp is from 1917 - 1939 if I remember correctly.
