Here’s a couple of High Carbon Steel USA . Both are solid knives . The Bone on the 5 blade is one of my favorite,along with the spiral punch . Cleaned them both up a bit and thought they needed there picture taken .

Hey folks ,got a couple more ,picked these up at North Star Club meeting in Mn. Met Dave there and some other members,had a great time and planning on going back. A Clover Brand ,Syracuse,USA. And a Kent ,NY CITY .Both solid pieces,have the long pull on main that I like. Got a fair deal on them and May caring them now and then .

I tried to do some more research today and find an approximate date of manufacture but no luck so far in finding that exact tang stamp. The other stamps pretty much have the HENRY SEARS & SONS markings, but not just Henry Sears Co.

Got this one in Monday. A DunLap U.S.A. Hawkbill or as listed in the Sears Catalogs a Pruner. The tang stamp is clear, and is listed as being used from 1938 until 1942, but Sears must have purchased plenty because the Dunlap pruners are listed in their catalogs up until 1952. i figured this would go good with my other Camillus family as I understand that the Dunlap Brand was Sears middle grade brand and many were produced by Camillus. I had to do a little cleaning on it. The blades were fine, but the pile side bolster had a large clump of rust, and pile side handle dark as if sitting in a drawer or box over a long period of time. The wood handles look like they had a heavy coat of varnish or shellac on them. I washed the knife with some Murphy's oil soap, then cleaned the handles with denatured alcohol, which removed the shellac. Then soaked in warm mineral oil overnight. Flushed with wd-40, then blew off with compressed air and let it dry. I've rubbed in four coats of boiled linseed oil on the wood handles. I think it turned out good. The blade is tight with strong snap, and positive half stop. The liner lock, and liners are all steal. The only things I've done to the blade is to polish with some Flitz and a microfiber towel. Here are some photos.

Thanks JP. I was really surprised at the condition of the blade myself, and the knife overall. Like you said, these were working knives and used to their fullest.

This morning, this became the latest pocket knife to join my "general" CAMILLUS collection. It came in a group of four pocket knives that I bought (not for this particular knife). It is a CAMCO USA, single blade, 1 tang stamp, 1 1/2" closed, 1 5/8" closed (including the loop/ring), advertising pocket knife. The main side says "LAUBE'S OLD SPAIN", the other side says "BUFFALO'S LEADING - RESTAURANT." It is in EXCELLENT condition and it didn't need to be cleaned. I took some pictures and here it is.
