Great pic Charlie!!
Must be nice to have tomatoes to pick. It had been so damned hot down here all summer, all of ours fried.
I had to go back to my pet rock to get some pics a while ago. LOL

That's a beauty, Willie.
Do you know the history of "Stacy"?
I couldn't find it in Goins.

London Cutler. Established 1780 went outof business circa 1920, they made corkscrews as well. That's all I know.
It's a sweet little knife, tight as a drum and snaps like a bear trap. It's headed for a new home I've sure enjoyed it and I'm gonna miss it. Oh well.

Thanks Wullie
I've got a couple friends in Texas that are having a pretty rough time between the draught and the fires.
Sure hope things improve for you folks soon.
Maters, peppers, and some green beans for pickling are about all I plant any more.
Just put up a dozen jars of beans and peppers a couple weeks ago. Mmm Can't wait for em to ferment.
Tried a couple more pix yesterday after getting a little mor advice from a member via pm.
Still not great, but I'll keep trying.

Thanks again.
Charlie

The two nicest knives I own are Randall's.
This first one, a #1 Combat Knife, was presented to me by the Officers and Soldiers of the unit I commanded during OIF in 2003 upon our redeployment home and to ARNG status. This is my first Randall; I am very proud to own this knife - my name and unit are engraved in the blade and of course I will not part with it.
This one I bought from a buddy who deals in Randall's sometime last year (I have forgotten what model number it is). I wanted a deer skinning knife that was exactly perfect, after looking through the 30 or so Randall's he owned I picked this one - I am hoping to skin my first deer with it this coming Saturday morning (opening day of muzzleloader in NC).

Both knives are STUNNING, but hey, they're Randall's, but that #1 Combat is just SO over the top.
