Here is one I got at the OKCA show last weekend.
I posted it in the Camillus forum so all you Camillaphiles bear with me.

This knife has the most unique scales I have seen on a Camillus.
It looks like snake skin, but it is smooth.
I think it is celluloid.
Circa 1946 or earlier.

Has anyone seen this type of scales on any other knives?

1895 Chicago is what the book says . LAWTON CUTLERY split back spring whittler very well used but the bone handles are perfect plus strong snap to all 3 blades.

Here is another one I picked up at last weekend's OKCA show.
Kabar pen.jpg
Kabar pen b.jpg
The blades are well covered with patina.
It is a nice thin single backspring penknife.
I have been carrying it in the watch pocket of my pants.
It seems to have good steel.

I also got this Schrade Cut Scout at the show.
Schrade Cut Co Scouts Prepare ct.jpg
Schrade Cut Co Scouts Prepare a.jpg
Schrade Cut Co Scouts Prepare d.jpg
EDIT-
I forgot this thread is supposed to be pre-1960.
That Kabar may not qualify.........my apologies! ::facepalm::

Thanks Dale! The English knives used the best stag on their knives.

I am not convinced that Empire made it, we had a discussion about these knives in another thread. It is very similar though ::nod::

I love looking at the knives in this thread. Thanks for sharing guys!

Paul,

It looks like you found another winner! Electric's are a favorite with Bret & I.

That has a desirable shape & cool bolsters!

Well, I've got this Imperial that resembles those scales.

There's some fine looking knives on this thread.
