Some great looking knives, guys!
Bruno, the Clawed Cougar Bone reminds me of Winterbottom bone.
The Bocote wood really looks great on that one, Greg. Shoot the wood looks good on any knife! ::tu::

These came in last week.

A nice little Ulster jack with a tang stamp I didn't have in my collection.
SANY0001.JPG
A couple of new colors to add to my shell handled toothpick collection. If my count's correct, this makes 78 different colors.

And, as an avid stamp collector,(oh stop yawning  ) I found this one to be rather fascinating. I know it can be done, but I'm not sure what kind of hoops you have to jump through to get permission from USPS to use one of their stamp designs. Not to mention, in some cases, royalties paid to the original designer.

Oddly, when I Googled the 'Lederle' name, the first hit was of course, a pharmaceutical co., but ironically, the second was a company that deals in CNC engraving equipment.

Ding, ding, ding. Give that man a Kewpie doll. I received the shield today and you are spot on correct John, it is John Deere.

Their instructions say use super glue but I think I prefer two part epoxy.

Knifeslinger#81 was kind enough to grab one of those NOS Camillus from his honey hole hardware store and sell it to me. What a beauty. Camillus 709Y, it's the modern designator for the smaller version of the #40 Congress Pen knife. Thank you Paul. I'm lovin' it.

And just to show he was sincere, he threw in this big old buster of a Buck 371 Stockman. Mercy, just look at that homeboy. Paul, you are too generous.

Cross posted on the Queen forum....

Just received this one.
A Queen City swell center. 3 7/8". Today it would be their 376 pattern.

A nice knife and would be even better if it didn't have bone missing from the pile side spring pin. Looks to be an old crack and has aged along with the knife.
I'm always surprised at how well these old Queen knives hold up throughout the years. No wobble on both blades.
This one was most likely manufactured in the 1930's.

Last week I talked about the wild frenzy of buying I did on ebay. Well, they have all arrived so here they are!

The haul includes 3 Queens from Bruno (bdev):

- #14 Peanut in Winterbottom Bone (1961-71)
- #11 Easy Open in Winterbottom Delrin (1978)
- #66 Muskrat in Winterbottom Delrin (1976)

Thanks again Bruno!

Two Case:

- #A62009 1/2 Barlow in Appaloosa Bone (1979)
- #278 Gentleman's Pen in imitation Ivory (1979)

Two Buck:

- #526 Lockback with stainless handles (1988)
- #527 Lockback with Walnut handles (pre 1986) - seller called this part of the "Wood Treasury Series"??

I love them all, but I have to say the two little Bucks really ring my bell. And, they were complete afterthoughts, I really wasn't expecting them to be so nice. Does anyone have any additional information on the Buck "Wood Treasury Series"? That's a new one for me.
