Morning Gents. Thanks for the Christmas count-down Jerry; we are still getting stuff up and haven't written a single card - got to get to work! Mike, I hope your GEC is perfect when you get 'er back. Ray, I watched Lonesome Dove again, should have watched something new, but I love watching LD. OH

I'm really glad they finished it Mike. Now we won't have to listen to you B@$%^ and moan about it anymore.
Seriously, I hope this hasn't been too traumatic for you. I'd hate to see you scared off GEC's because of one little incident. Well maybe not so little since you had such a difficult time acquiring it in the first place.
Here. I'll wait with you Bud.
Mornin' Ray, Scott, Colonel.

TO be totaly honest, if it came back in the same condition that it left in, it would still be a really nice knife. If anything, the mere fact that that GEC is willing to go to such lengths to take care of something that, honestly, is really a pretty minor gripe, has only made me a bigger fan. My biggest concern with them is,
when is that BARLOW gonna be ready, and how much do I gotta pay for it!?!
(sip)
Mornin Dale.

When? From the progress they've shown on the GEC web site, I'd have to say soon. I'm going out on a limb here and say some will be released this week.
As for price, this is a quote by Mike Latham from his post in the #15 thread on CollectorKnives.net.
"$71.95 - 87.95; not completely ironed out yet. MSL"
These are Charlie's (upnorth/waynorth) SFO. I asked in another thread where he's going to sell his share of the knives. Hope he answers.

I count Lonesome Dove as one of my all time favorite movies and the book may be #1 on my all time list. There is nothing like it to capture the imagination.

There's been a growing tendency here to malinger. From now on, I want to see everyone here for morning P.T. by 0430. That is all. Dismissed.
Hey, boys and girls. It's going to be a chilly day here in The Great Midwest but not as cold as it normally is. Highs in the 40s is unusual for this time of year.
A good day to all. I have a knife coming in today's mail so that's something to look forward to.

Morning Jerry, no malingering, but the hell with PT! Sipping that first cup, leaving in a few hours for Raleigh, taking my wife to a post-op appointment with her doctor - then she wants to Christmas shop in Raleigh - two people for every square foot in those malls! Maybe before the day is done we will get by Hill's Sporting Goods on Capital Blvd., - that would sure make it a great day! OH

Since you're senior man here, I guess you can get away with that attitude towards P.T. Ahh hell, I didn't want to do it anyway.
Tit for tat Colonel. Tit for tat. You give a little, she gives a little. That's what I like to see. (only for me, a half day in the mall would be giving a LOT

)

Half a day at the mall would be the equivalent of donating a kidney!!!!

Thank goodness it falls under the prohibition against "cruel and unusual punishment" .

Mornin' boys! I can't even begin to describe the hell that time in a mall represents to me. To start with women have no concept of going in and getting the item or items they want and then leaving. Oh no, you have to do a lot of looking around. Boy, its hell for me. Except for the girls in short skirts, there is nothing in a mall that I care to see.
Ah, well! I still wish everyone a great day.

I used to like to "shop". Wander around the stores looking. But that was back when I had some money.
I called it grazing.
Halfway through a Mug. MAY need to go for another. The desire to crawl back under my eyelids is POWERFUL!

Mornin.
Feelin' like hell this morning....feel like I got run over by a tank.
I helped my daughter and son in-law with a new construction clean up of Five Guys Burgers.
I worked hard and fast for like 6 hours. and practically killed myself.....all for 50 dollars. Unbelievable.......The small pittence I eraned can't compare to the pain I'm experiencing now and will for the next couple of days.....

Ouch Scott!
I hate it when I sell out too cheap!
You would need to add a 0 to the end of that sum if I had to hurt that bad afterward......................maybe two 0's!
