Thank you for asking about Griffin Bighmoer
He is eating now, but still doesn't care to play. Still taking an antibiotic.
His breathing is much better now also. Just wants to be in the same room
with me and watch TV. How is Sissy doing?

She doing good, just aggravated with the cast and cone. There's times she won't let me out of her sight and other times that I'm ignored completely. She gets real
aggravated with the cone and will beat the tar out of her purple pig toy. Hope Griffen gets back to normal soon. ::handshake::

Jake, Schnurri, Finny & some baby armored catfish. They are very hard to take sharp pictures of because they never stop moving. ::nod:: And the last picture is of 2 grown up armored catfish. ::tu::
Our third cat, Pepsi, was not around when I was taking pictures. :D

Bristol was in full out crazy just moments before this was taken. She runs around the chair she is sitting in and runs past me and up the stairs and back down, bounces off the couch and makes the loop again and again. Scout is always right on her trying to calm her down. When Bristol jumps up in the chair, Scout is off to the side making her excitement growl that will eventually lead to a bark. It is hilarious to watch.
Bristol had this chew toy in her mouth as she was running. When she tired herself out she lay in the chair with that toy hanging out like a cigar. What a joy she is to have around. We laugh everyday because of her.

Mark, I think the antics of our pets and the laughter we get from them is a gift from God. Sometimes I laugh at our dogs and they look at me wagging their tails, with a look that seems to say, “I’m glad you enjoyed that!”

Tom, your armored catfish must be scavengers that keep your aquarium clean. Reminds me of the ones called Plecostimus that our boys had in their aquarium. They have a suction cup mouth that they use to eat algae off the aquarium glass. As I recall they got pretty big if they lived long enough.

Hi Ken,

Plecostomus are some pretty cool fish. ::tu:: I had some brown & some white ones. These two crossed & I had beautiful grey colored plecostomus. ::nod:: ::super_happy::

The lady at the pet store said that was impossible. ::uc:: So I took some to the store & showed em to her but it was still impossible. ::shrug:: But I had em anyways. ::nod:: ::super_happy::

And the baby armored catfish I have right now are also cross breads. It's probably absolutely impossible. ::shrug:: But I have em anyways. ::nod:: ::super_happy::

Mark, Bristol looks like he was born to be a comic. Yesterday I was laughing at some YouTube videos of "guilty" dogs, dogs caught in some nefarious acts like chewing up a shoe or toilet paper, etc. The funniest ones are when there are two dogs and in response to the human asking "Which one of you did this?" one of the dogs responds by reaching over and placing his paw on his partner thus indicating the true criminal.

Which reminds me of my old complaint about the excessive respect we give to science. For most of the 20th century biologists and other scientists insisted dogs only had instincts. Such things as emotions and feelings like love, fear, happiness or sadness, were unknown to animals. To any observer this was clearly nonsense. I understand there are still a few scientists who hold to this view. They probably work for the government.

Just got bad news, Sissy has managed to rebreak her leg, I may have a three legged buddy, the vet thinks that may be the best way to go, he's calling some orthopedic docs to see what they think. But he's leaning that way and to be honest me too. ::teary_eyes::

Three legged buddy is better than no buddy! Dogs do pretty good on three legs but let's hope it doesn't come to that.

Sorry to hear this Bighomer. Three legged dogs do very well and I suspect it affects us, more than it does their outlook. Thought and prayers with your decision and treatment.

Thanks fellers, Doc that's exactly what the vet said and I know from experience that it's true. It's still kinda sad though. But she'll get all the love and spoiling she can stand. ::handshake::

Thanks buddy, me too on the pain part, she really has shown no outward signs of hurting but who knows. She never groans or whimpers so I just don't know and that bothers me to no end, I don't like to suffer and I don't want anything around me suffering ::handshake::

Sorry to learn that about Sissy. I currently know of a 3-legged dog that seems to get along fine without it’s right foreleg. Don’t know the owner but I see the dog (looks like a black lab) in the yard. Praying Sissy will manage as well. ::pray::

Awe, poor girl :( . Prayer sent on up for her, and for everyone ::pray:: .

Dog's usually handle these situations, like dog's do.
It's harder on us humans, then themselves.
Like Doc says, it affects us far more, then there own outlook on life.
And that's the awesome thing about pets, they always live in the moment, the past has no bearing on them :D .
