Glad to see you’re out of hibernation and back to roaming the wilderness again, Squach. Apparently you’re not alone; looks like you may have family from Ohio coming for a visit. Or perhaps it’s a raiding party from a rival tribe coming for your knives

They better hope Billy doesn’t catch their scent when you’re out on your next walk and think they’re big hairy deer

I'll roll out the welcome mat and put on a pot of coffee. They're gonna' be wet and cold if they come through here today.

Winter decided to rear it's ugly head again after a week of mild temps. Wind with rain and snow mixed and 35 degrees.

The day is getting closer and Leprechauns are gathering. Some Leprechauns are better lookin' than others.

Nice photos, Charlie! I especially like the background on those shots. It is pretty much identical to the forest floor in my area.
Fingers - nice composition with the Bear MGC.

Cool pictures! You can't beat the beauty of those Irish redheads. I've lived with one for 50+ years. Still looking for that pot o' gold tho......

Limestone?
Thanks.
I'm not sure what the stone is.
It looked almost volcanic, like lava rock.

... Did you say lava rock? ....

Hmmmm....

Where could one find that???

I don't know GSP, this isn't an area where I would expect to find any. I did stumble upon this one last time I was traipsing around the Superstitions. About 45 years ago. I use it as a paperweight. I still have a couple of thunder eggs somewhere in the basement too. I gave the chunk of petrified wood I had to my granddaughter.
Oh look! Mulies, Haven't seen one of those for a long time, in the bush or on my plate.
Nice Bowie too!

Nice pics, T-Dog

I especially like the composition of pic #3 with the big natural landscape of sky, clouds and rocks filling the frame and the Bowie knife drawing the eye into the scene. Well done

The mule deer is also a cool pic.....wildlife is always a winner when you can capture it in a photo

The model is called the Journeyman. I have two of them. This one was made in 2005 and the other was made in 2011 but I don't believe they make them anymore.
