Some sweet unspoiled pets being showed off. x10. Sissy got a new cast Wednesday. Sissy got a new cast Thursday, after she managed to get the other one almost off. Doc plans for this one to stay on, hopefully it will. I was scared to death that she had rebroken it.

Poor girl! Praying for a good recovery for her!

BH.. I know Sissy will be REAL GLAD when she gets her cast off.. I know I was and she has had hers longer!! Believe me I know how she feels and why she chewed hers off.. Wanted to do the same thing a time or two..

Hello All. Still alive. Hope to visit and contribute more often. My camera resolution is a work in progress. Can't post pics from my phone but had a friend take some pics of my new friend I picked up Saturday. Her name is Elsa and she is a very sweet dog. I am blessed.

Zero clue why but I could not shake a haunting thought that I need a giant dog breed.

Maremanno-Aburezze Sheepdog, Great Pyrenees, Anatolian and Akbash. Four big flavors of sheepdog. She is a sweetheart. She is really mellow.

Thanks so much QS. She was slightly smaller than her siblings, not the runt and the last one available. I am sure the others siblings are great too but think she was meant for me.
Took her for shots and checkup today. Healthy and happy. Sounded like a few dogs were really stressed, screaming, howling and crying. As I paid the gal I said, "Wow, hope that is not my pup". She goes and gets Elsa and said she was fast asleep amongst all the other dogs throwing a fit. Funny stuff.

Our cat Oskar with a Junco in his mouth. His mom lives free in the forest at my friends. He kills everything around here, including large pack rats. Awesome cat to have around.

Now i know they say that the camera adds a few pounds, and it may be my imagination, but is the AAPK adopted mascot, Sissy, putting some pud on?

There an old saying amongst country folks around here, "fatter than a town dog" that our gal sissy, I'll bet once she get that dang cast off she get back to running and will slim down.

Wow what a beautiful pup. You do'od good congrats x 10. They do have a tendency to get large, there is several in my area all guarding livestock, mostly goats. Buddy of mine had one with his goats said it was absolutely fearless.
