Just got this one from Matador, Texas. It is a 2003, 1 of 100, model #5303 from Moore Maker, made by Queen. They call it a whittler, but I think its more of a cattle knife with those long blades and three backsprings. It is smooth yellow bone (who don't love yellar) with two shields. I got it as a replacement for a 1996 model #5303 that had a bolster issue. the old one was bright yellow bone, jigged.
Enjoy,
Dave

I would call it a sowbelly stockman..

.........Great looking knife no matter what they want to call it.

Yeah, Johnnie, I'd have to agree to that- it is a stout little sucker, but one you could use all day.

Scored a couple more Hubies. One from a 24hr eBay listing (only way they don't get pulled I guess)
and the other from another auction site kinda like eBay. The one from the other auction site is the
slimline Hubie and I got it for eighty shipped.

Nice SOG. Does that old pitcher mouthed pump still work or is it just for decoration these days?

Nothing too fancy here....a Schrade 863. I think they stopped making these in 1980.....I love the swell center design, and have quite a few of these as EDCs. I picked this one up on e-bay a few weeks ago for $12....doesn't look like it has seen much use.

I don't know much about Schrades.....is it considered a whittler pattern?......I know if the coping blade was at the other end it would definitely be.
Beautiful knife either way.....sweet price too.
