It sold for$316.99. Not bad for a Keen Kutter pen knife.

JR those rams horn scales are very cool. Haven't seen them on a scout before.

....I had seen them before on Weidmannsheils and Bulldogs..this was the first one that I could get for the price that I was willing to pay tho.

I posted this knife earlier. It had a broken spring and a super kind member sent me an original replacement I sent it off to have it replaced. Look at the pic and see if you can tell why I immediately called and returned it. Several things are wrong. I hope he can make it right. I am not a happy camper without his scout knife

Yep...the caplifter should be at the other end ...and, in front of the master blade.

The bail is obvious.

Actually, they made them in this configuration as well, it`s the model R7A

The one you just described is the model R7.

Hmmm...I didn't know that.

...looks odd with the can opener beside and behind the master blade too me.

I agree it does look odd

They are much harder to find than the one with the can opener at the opposite end of the main blade.

Don't know if it's an optional delusion or just my poor old eyesight, but the bolsters and handles don't like they fit the frame, looking at the cap lifter/screwdriver end. Also, is that bail attached to the knife??

I have three of these configured exactly the same as the one pictured except the removable bail is in place on mine. So, what is not right with this knife?

...this one has red bone for sure.

I believe the first one has wood scales..
