I've noticed that nearly all Case Copperlocks & Mini Copperlocks sell for significantly more on the secondary market than they do new. I've had that Burnt Indigo Copperlock with the Wharncliffe and the Mini Copperlock in Blue Mediterranean on my list for quite a while. They are gorgeous!

In a real change of pace from my normal peanuts and pens, a full-size trapper came today. I like the bone on this one. The jigging is very faint and light - does that make this one of the "pocket worn" series?

Nice Schrade! I have that same stamp in the green Delrin, makes an awesome LFP carry with how slim it is. Vanishes in the pocket. Takes as wicked an edge as any carbon steel Schrade I've ever used.
This forum is a terrible influence. I just pulled the trigger on the burnt indigo Wharnie copperlock. I rationalize it by saying I don't have enough blue knives, but I think we all know that's just a convenient excuse.

Yup - it's a 1996.
In today's mail is a knife I bought completely just for fun. Anything that I can buy for $6.50 (free shipping!) that makes me smile is worth it! As a kid growing-up in the 1960s, I was absolutely in love with anything related to space. I had tons of spaceship and astronaut toys and I would get-up early in California to watch the NASA launches from Florida. I was glued to the TV when the first moon landing occurred. It was certainly no surprise to anyone when I became an aerospace engineer. So, when I saw this novelty knife, I had to have it - even if it is a piece of trash. The front side has a picture of a space ship and an astronaut, and the reverse has a Morse code chart. The plastic is dark and dingy, and someone went at the blades with a grinder, but I don't care!

Picked up another 8OT so I can be one more closer to having enough 8OTs.
This 7OT is going into my EDC rotation.
This is my first 94OT to acquire as far as collecting goes. I believe it was a display knife. Has the Schrade/USA/94OT stamp. Correct me if I'm wrong; this was the earlier era stamp for the 94OT.
Added some honest old sheaths to use with my EDCs.

That stamp was on 500 series Bucks from 1975 to 1984, IIRC.

I was away for about a week (went to Colorado) and just got home. These were waiting for me.

QTCut5, that is an outstanding wharncliffe collection. I have never owned a one "wharnie" patterned blade so this is my first one. The knife is really nice but I decided to make it a carry knife and over the weekend it proved its usefulness several times. One of my biggest problems with traditional slip joints is the fact that can close on your hand when bearing down hard something. I smoke a briar tobacco pipe and it works perfect for cleaning the bowl out and also perfect for tasks when a clip point is too broad/big. Also, this will be very easy to sharpen....
