That is some nice stuff, Tim! I bet you cannot wait to check the mailbox when knives like that are on the way.

I want to publicly apologize to you, Tim, I feel my OP was inappropriate and has been deleted wherever I could.
I completely misunderstood the content of your post and without thinking posted mine, and it's reminded me to keep my big mouth shut.
I would also ask that anyone who quoted my post where it shows in their post if they would also delete my comments, Reverend, Kevin, and you Tim, just like I've done here on your reply.
I'm very sorry, buddy, ::handshake:: I certainly understand taking advantage of a sale, and they DO make it more enticing.

Marco, my friend, you have NOTHING to apologize for. For the life of me, I can’t see what could have possibly been inappropriate in your post. Tell you what. I’ll make a promise. If you ever offend me with a comment (which I’m sure will never happen), I’ll let you know. How about that? :D So, no more worries! ::tu::

You bet, Mel! Especially when it’s SIX knives at one time! ::ds::

So, here’s the next one.

I can't remember if I've shown this one before.
These older Rough Riders are getting harder to find.

I like that one, Tim! Looks like it's a good sized knife! Can't tell. Does that have the copper bolsters?

Yep, it has copper bolsters and liners as well.
It's a little over 3.75" closed . I really like the finish on the blade.

Wow, Rough Rider is sure making some very attractive knives, Tim, your knife isn't my style at all yet I'm finding myself really admiring it!
Great choice on that one, buddy!

Thanks, Marco! I know you like a single blade, but you’d like the size of this one. 5.25 inches closed, it’s a handful! ::tu::

Yes sir, Tim, as soon as I see the handle measure 4 1/2 - 5" when the seller has it beside a ruler in their pictures, I double the amount so as to include the blade to get it's OAL, I get excited cuz I know it'll be around 9", my sweet spot for open length.
Of course, I much prefer when the knife is open and beside the ruler showing it's full length, cuz for those I don't need to do all the complicated math! lol!
I certainly get why some folks measure both the handle and the blade or just the handle separately, but since the only length I'm interested in is the total, I put my thinking cap on and do the algebra!
Then there's the models like yours, with their handles being 5 1/4" or more....Ye-haw!

And that you did, Tim, like how I'm thinking right now just how nice it is to again see a knife measuring more than 6 - 7 1/2" oal, cuz it seems that all I see anymore are the shorter models, and then of course there's the 9+" er's like the RR you posted, and how I'm thinking how good your knife would look, to me, with only a single spear-point blade, an'...an'...an'!
Great knife, buddy, enjoy it! ::handshake::

Beautiful knife, Joe, not only is the overall shape of it attractive to me, the gorgeous shade of blue sets it right off!
Very nice!
