It was just one day among many where there wasn't anything going on in Jerry Land. And then my doorbell rang. I got that look on my face, you know the one where you scrunch your face up like Wha............?

I didn't recognize the name but the town in the return address looked familiar and the first name translated to one of several I know. Yep, RalphAlsip has been sneakin' around and dropped one right in my wheel house. WOW!! I was stunned. I mean look at this baby. What more could a certified knife nut wish for. This is a fair dinkum beauty. Jerry, I'm not worthy

I can't seem to stop coon fingerin' and chicken eye'n this beautiful Case Wharncliffe Copperlock. Mr. TX-Jerry, you're a mad man. Thank you, a thousand times thank you. You just made my day, week, month.

Au contraire mon frère. I found that quarter right away. I tried to get a picture of it with the knife but it was such a bad picture, I deleted it. There's a place in my heart for So. Illinois and that quarter is a reminder of what a special place that part of the country is to me.

Ya know TX-Jerry, I think you guys may have talked me into carrying this beauty around with me for a while. I have a nice leather slip that Barry (Gunstock Jack) made and I won off another forum. On further thought, the Northwoods Greg (gsmith7158) sent, came with a very nice leather slip and it can come along for the ride. Genius idea, eh?

Shawnee National Forest Garden of the Gods quarter. My in-laws have a camp there but I have yet to have gone. They have nine day horse back rides and my father in-law was the lead point man until his passing in June at 93. Would like to check out the now closed fluorite mines. Nice sister in-law gave me several large chunks of it. Another "vice, rock collecting!"

I just wanted to say a thank you to J.Bob for sending me a camera.
I posted that I am not able to post my knife images because I do not own a camera phone or a camera, and the Cannon printer/scan method failed.

Just Bob sent me a camera. I didn't ask anyone for anything yet he just offered, and sent it.
Thank you Sir. This gesture of faith will allow me to do what I need to do to move forward.

Well I came home today and to my surprise I have an envelope from QTcut5! QT had seen a picture I had posted earlier that I took on my Hawaiian mouse pad and with him being from HI he had to find out more about me. He sent me a PM and we found out that he used to live in the same Bay Area town as me when he was a kid. Both my wife and father were born on Kauai but I was born on the mainland but definitely have the Aloha spirit. Long story short he said he was going to send me a little something and needless to say I am ecstatic about it. It is a beautiful Frost Copperhead with gorgeous Scrimshawed bone handles! Brah you are the bomb, I can't thank you enough for such a beautiful gift!
