I don’t buy your answer because everything you wrote was downgrading and insulting to another member
If you think his or anyone’s new knife is junk maybe you should keep it to yourself and let them enjoy their new find
Trashing it is in NO way inviting research!
Bottom line is a guy posts him new knife and how much he likes it and you trash it so say what you want it’s not cool
I think your trying to start trouble and
I think your full of crap !! Maybe I should keep that to myself but like you said were all entitled to our opinions
so yeah that’s my opinion

I put them in the same frame, and I do agree that they are different in shape/style. 100% agree.
What I DO know is the Two Sun has a bearing system that does not get effected by grit. Pocket lint is nothing compared to pockets full of CF dust or Fiberglass dust at the end of the day.
I have that gentleman's auto by BenchMade that cost me 149.99. I wanted to return it the moment I opened the package but I carried it for a few days.
The Two Sun works,(flipper) and the Bench fails to open fully. That is my point! How do I compare the two value wise? Not sayin'
I see a few posts before I post this...
MYSTERY STEEL is all I can say. I don't know what they are made of. Where did BM get theirs? IN house?
Mot to start a better oil conversation BUT I know what is working for me, and what I paid for it.
Here is the proof
I'll find the image of the BM I have, and most of you already know what it is... I'll happily trade it for 1/4 the 149.00 at Blade HQ, and buy another Two SAun.
Jusat sayin' I didn't like the BM for "ME" . It's not tough enough..
Hey Ed I'll give ya 2 twosuns for that Benchmade

And as far as tough Benchmade are as tough as they come and ARE tougher than the triad system that is in the Cold steel and so is Spydico lock system

Wild Irish Rose + Mad Dog = a night you can't remember (but wish you could forget the few flashes of consciousness you do recall).

Don't remember imbibing any Wild Irish Rose or Mad Dog. Mostly the ones I listed plus some Mateus Rose if we felt like getting fancy.

Mr Gino, SIR
I meant no disrespect, and I never once stated that anyones happiness was less than it should be.
What I saw was a knife that reminded me of a knife that I bought,
To ME I was happier with the less expensive version, and that was ALL I was attempting to say.
I had to include my reasons for saying what I said
.Personally, Sir, if you knew me, and my way of expressing myself... you would know that I mean no disrespect. I only offer my opinion in the only way I can.
Hemingway I am not. A guy from Yonkers, N.Y., I am.
GuardDog... I'll trade you one of my BM's for your 2 Two Suns any time. PM me... No Joke.
Jerry... We have to party! Boones Farm is my FAVORITE!
Sorry if this distracted the thread but that is what forums are about. speaking what you believe, and letting others decide what to think from there.
The score on the BM's were a nice score for sure. No doubting that.
My opinion, and your mileage will be different.

Back to "New Pick-ups". i haven't had a new truck in 15 years. Maybe because i bought too many knives, no truck money.
Here's one i picked up at the P.O. today: Tuna Valley 3 3/4" E.O. Jack, 154Cm & mammoth ivory. Came from Frank's Classic Knives here at AAPK. Man he has some nice knives you don't see on the larger websites. Frank the Connoisseur of Fine Knives.
It is dark now (by 1545 hrs !) so here is dealer's pic.
And although a Queen knife the thinly ground blade is actually hair poppin' sharp Amazing, i love it. This is a Very Nice knife.

Dale, I drank a lot of that Wild Irish Rose when I was in the Navy...the only wine I know of that will make you puke in technicolor.
Here's one for the beer lovers...a GEC with some Herman Williams stag.

Just shows to go ya. The troops will drink anything.
Ya know, I actually felt sorry for you Doggies. Our classmates at Ft. Bliss, Texas had an envy thing going with the Marines because we got paid twice a month.
When we went to Spain on Operation Steel Pike in the fall of 1964, the scuttlebutt was that one of the ships had an entire hold full of Natty Boh (National Bohemian). True or not, that is all we had to drink until we got back to the states.
Edit: Hmmm. I wonder if National Bohemian donated the beer for that operation and wrote it off on their taxes.

I did not know yawl got paid twice per month, I'd been jealous too. Never heard of national bohemian either. In Nam when we got any beer, alot of it would west coast brews.

Natty Bo was a Baltimore - Chesapeake Bay area beer in the 1960's and 70's - it is being brewed again, had some in Balto a few years back while at a Duck-pin bowling alley. Don't know how the current brew compares to the original - look for the one eyed man! OH

Thanks for the comments on the Tuna Valley EO Jack. It is a knife in which everything is just as it should be and the mammoth is excellent & not too fat. However these are as expensive as a full custom. I doubt they can be sold on the secondary market without taking a loss. However i bought it because i like it.

I agree KJ, I think the stag and horn versions can at least hold even with their value over time, some have even went up a bit. The dealer price of the ivory versions is probably higher than you could ever sell for, but if you like it, that's all that counts.
There are a few ivory ones that I picked up 2nd hand that were about 75% of the original dealer price. However, I do know of a few of the 2012 knives in ivory, and the guy is asking quite a bit higher than the original dealer price. (Although, he is asking, but so far isn't getting any buyers).

This didn't come in the mail but a buddy of mine from work gave me this Single Action OTF Daggar today. I had told him yesterday that I was shopping for a cheap one but I couldn't order one online because of the out of state shipping restriction. He showed up today with this. Good dude.

I intended to mention that in my post above but I forgot. I don't see any markings or stamps on the knife at all.
I've never owned an OTF Auto before. I was shopping for a Double Action but I wanted a cheap one since it's my first experience with an OTF. I found some Lightning brand Double Actions online but I couldn't order one because I don't live in the same state as the seller.
This one is Single Action but it's cheap and it does a good job of satisfying my desire for an OTF. I would never carry a knife like this even though I can legally do so in my state of Illinois. It sure is fun to play with though.
