Excellent cattle knife score rexstubbins, looks to be in very nice condition. ::tu::

I've acquired a couple new ones. The Case whittler President's Knife came last week and is near perfect for my standards. Got it on flea bay for what I thought was a bargain compared to a couple others just like it that I've seen listed before. Curious to know from the Case experts here what they think of the knife as a collectors piece. It would be a nice one to carry but I'm thinking of keeping it safe since the condition is so nice.

The Churchill is one I've wanted since they first came out recently. I love the pattern and blade configuration so decided to pull the trigger on one Friday and it arrived on Monday. I'm liking it every bit as much as I thought I would. :)

This one came in a lot called Junk Knives. The blades have seen better days, but they snap open and shut, and I love the bone-

Today's mail brought something(s) old and something(s) new. I must admit, pulling in a haul of knives like these gives me such a dopamine rush it's hard to shut off the flow of adrenaline and come back down to planet Earth. I know you all know exactly what I'm talking about because you're all knife junkies too! ::ds::

Here is an Oscar Barnett Tool Co. made Plier Knife. I have seen a lot of them over the years but not one this nice. Usually the tools are well worn or broken and the bone handles cracked or split. A lot of them were made/used and they were widely available in the early 20th century. This one with the exception of the spear blade which is worn or sharpened down by 15 perecent or so is in very excellent condition. Has perfect function. The beautiful pick bone green bone handles are not cracked, split, damaged or pulled away from the liners. Really a wonderful example compared to what is usually seen. Thanks for looking!!

LanG,
That's a great one to find in the junk! A little work on that blade and it could be a great EDC! You have found some interesting ones as I looked back at your posts. ::tu::

Thank you, Treefarmer. I've cast a wide net in my first month of PKfever, but I'm figuring out what I like best. Old knives with good bone is high on the list ::nod::

What a very cool, and eclectic mix of knives on this one page alone. Every image is like a roller-coaster thru time.
I mean I really feel the decades flowing back, and forth. Good music really helps when reading here too. ::nod::

Just sitting here smiling for you all, and enjoying your victories...

This Utica EO came in earlier today. Very strong springs. The master blade is manageable but I need a helper to get the pen blade open. :)

These 3 arrived in the last week or so. Wolfertz brass handles jack, a nice bone no name, tang stamp has been ground and just shows Made In U.S.A. at the bottom of ground area, I think its a Winchester and finally a nice Boker USA jack.

WOWZA!
John, that USA jack with the spear is a honey.

Here's a sweet Robeson.
Unusual that it has no pattern number on the back of the tang.
I don't know the pattern name of this beautifully made knife. 3 inches closed.

Edit: I realized it's probably a pen knife.

DM 11: Congrats on your Utica E/O. E/Os flip my switch. Try some Quick Release on that pen blade. So long as there is no wobble or play in the master blade you have a winner in my opinion. If I was starting over with my collecting/accumulating I would give considerable focus on E/Os. ::tu::

Looks to be a larger version of the CAMILLUS "George Washington". The GW is from the 1930's and is 2 1/2" closed. I think it is called a quill knife. I think I like the Robeson better. Very nice knife. Here's a pic of the GW:

Thank you, Keith. ::tu::

That's where I've seen that blade before. Thank you, tj. ::tu::
You're right, I should have called it a quill knife.
That George Washington is nice.

Great find, especially in that condition. Camillus made the white Delrin Scouts 1980-1984

Hey JD, are you saying that CAMILLUS made the white handled Ulster scout?
