Here's a Case Jr. Boy Scout knife. They really scrimp on the logo etched on the master blade. I think it should be a Cub Scout knife and let the Boy scouts have a full sized 45 pattern. What do I know I spent my scout years in Father Baker's :lol:

How do you like it?

I like it well enough, especially the bone. Because of recent discussion on later versus earlier Case knives I gave it maybe an extra critical look. Although to me it is acceptable I see that the spring action is not as strong as on some knives. (The master blade.) I'll call it a 4. While I would like it firmer, for me I'd rather have it a bit soft rather than a nail breaker. Those annoy me no end.

Nice Centennial Quick Steel ::tu::
Here's a 340045R that I posted a while back but I thought it would be cool to put it up again. I had more trouble finding this knife than any other scout I own. I actually saw one when it was for sale on ebay by the Denver TSA and was in a batch of 4 Case knives that they confiscated. That got me hunting until I found this one in a collection in Minesota. The seller really didn't know how worked up I was so it came in at a fair price :) It's a SFO for SMKW and it's one you almost never see for sale anymore. If any of you have one I'd like to see it here.
Thanks,
wazu013

Thanks JR :) Do you know when Camillus made their last Case 45? This one is a 2003 and I think I've seen a 2006 but I'm not sure. I have a couple 2002's. One of them is a SFO with 5 tools including a small pliers.

I've wondered that myself. ::hmm:: ...I would assume in 2003 when they went bankrupt. ::shrug::

Heres a pic of mine with the pliers...got it from Philco. 8)
