Those are well made quality knives, Joe, congratulations.
And your very cool "no-nonsense" shot fits it perfectly.
Is yours the "Hidden Release" model?

Thx!
Iβm not familiar with a βhidden release.β Itβs a straightforward slip joint.
Oh, they also make that model with a scale-release feature that operates by shifting the front cover to your left using your thumb, and then the blade deploys enough to pinch-and-pull it to the open position. If I'm remembering correctly, it's necessary to hold the knife in either the tip-up or tip-down position prior to shifting the scale.
Thiers refers to as a "Hidden-Release", but due to how it operates along with what it actually accomplishes, truth be told I'd say it's more of a safety feature. Additionally, those models are considerably more expensive.
Manual or H-R, they're very nice knives, enjoy yours.

Electric and a Luna moth
Beautiful shot, Ike, of course the knife is outstanding but I've not seen an insect like that one prior to right now, it's almost haunting.

Electric and a Luna moth
How did you get that moth to land next to the knife? Wildlife cooperation is a high degree of difficulty.
They only live a matter of days, and this one was probably on its' last day. So, I happened to have that Electric in my pocket, and it was of no concern to the moth when I placed it nearby.
Looks like that moth had other things on it mind....

....

like maybe how awesome your pocketknife was?

Here go those great minds thinking alike again, Tony, I have a Desperado, too, although, it doesn't display those lovely MOP covers like yours does.

Then learn how to post pictures directly to AAPK.
