I worked 💪.
Here is an interesting old folder. A Case XX stag scaled trapper. It was much loved and taken care of. Walks and talks almost like new. However it has been carried for so long that the stag is as smooth as if it had been sanded.

I'm not much of a buyer anymore but this one called my name and now she's home - Buck 110 Custom Shop with elk stag and nickel silver bolsters new in the box with the original sheath and paperwork - I've sent correspondence to Buck seeking build information based on the serial number on the box. ::tu::

thank you brother - the 5” length of the 110 is a bit big for me but I’m sure she’ll get some belt sheath action at least a few times a year.

Personally, I prefer the 110 to the 112, I like the bit of extra length, but plenty of folks are with you, Tom, they swear by their 112's. My favorite Buck, and now with stag covers, is that cool or what!
Beautiful knife, Tom, I can see why it called for you! ::handshake::

Like the bolsters, and love the stag. Good eye and great acquisition. 👍

TY Marc and Floyd - she’s caused a few fights in the Gerstner box today but I think the Benchmade’s put her in her place :D Maybe I’ll tote her tomorrow on my Sunday donut run ::nod::

That's a good looking 110, Tom. I've never been a fan of brass bolsters and those nickel silver bolsters perfectly complement the elk covers. And you're going to be happy with the larger blade when you hook one of those deep sea monsters feeding on the reef fish everyone else is catching! ::nod::

Same here Q which is predominantly why I got drawn in on this 110 plus I was once an Elk - the OCD monkey got fed with this one! ::handshake::

BestGear, that's similar to the one that I specked out on the Buck website just a few days ago. The elk and nickel silver bolsters are perfect together. I am saving up for something else so I did not order one. Your post makes me want to reconsider.

I've been reading AAPK forums for a few years but I only recently started to post. I recently posted this knife in the GEC #23 Pioneer Trapper subforum and QTCut5 suggested that I also post it here. It has a neat flaw - the blade etch is missing the "D" after the "L" and most of the "-" after the "X" (except for a tiny speck).

I left a knife on my driveway one night and drove over it in the morning.... it busted it up, but NOT that bad! I guess if you drove over it again, it might could straighten it out.... ::shrug::

Beautiful Buck Custom Tom. Very nice stag on that. I’ve seen those knives that are curved like that. Can’t figure out a practical purpose for it but it sure is pretty.

Trapperjohn, that is some amazing stag you have on that GEC.
