Rocky, I really believe I get more enjoyment sharing the collection than anyone looking. I have gained new knife friends and although I have collected knives since age 9 ( over 50 years) my Remington collection only began about 8 years ago. The knowledge gained on AAPK about Remington knives is amazing. I enjoy a AAPK and our fellow members more than can be described. I have been so fortunate to have grown up around the old NKCA shows and had built friendships across the country. Unfortunately I am losing my old friends as they pass. Another reason for my real appreciation for AAPK. Thank you Rocky, please stay in touch , I look forward to future visits. John

We have lost our club in my area, it was the main placed I learned about knives, and also where I purchased my knives. I miss the guys and the trading and the fellowship. We have some that gets together when possible.

A few years ago we started a weekly knife swap. Meet in the community room of our bank and would have 20 or so collectors every week. This went on strong for about 5 years. A lot of good knife talk went on every week. To bad I can’t get 10 or less collectors on a regular basis. Oh well just different times and different interests......

The R103 is not very special other than it is the first model produced February 1920. The knife was produced with both bail and no bail.
