All About Pocket Knives

Thought I would share a couple and dig a few more out soon to share

First is a 6488
Second is a WR Case 6539. It has had some repairs to front and back but when I saw it couldn't pass it up since you don't see the pattern much and repairs were done pretty well considering. Maybe one day will luck across a better example

Nice 5 blade sowbelly. Really good find not many out there.

Larry, those are indeed rare beauties. Based on what little info I can find, the 5394X was only made for a few years in Tested era, and in relatively small numbers. I think zp4ja has some old Case production figures. Thanks for showing them. Case Classic reproduced the pattern but those were by definition limited runs.

I am not sure these are the two rarest I have, but certainly not seen very often. The top is a 8271 XX Long Pull with no pattern number and the pearl handles are dovetailed at the bolsters. The bottom is a 83074 Long Pull Case Bradford, master marked Case Bradford, and one small blade has the Tested XX football stamp and the other the pattern number.

Very collectible knives being shown.

The dovetail pearl is very unique.

Her are a couple of Rare ones I think. The stag is a Tested Gunstock Whittler 5387 1920-40. Not sure on the pattern but the bottom one is a Case Bros Little Valley Wharncliffe Whittler 1900-1912.

Tom, beautiful knives! The frame shape (sleeveboard?) of the pearl whittler reminds me of 76 pattern. That being said, I don't recall seeing a 76 with wharncliffe blade or in pearl.
