All About Pocket Knives

Really like the "New Grind" on that 1983 second cut stag, Squach. I wish Case hadn't discontinued that...it's so much more graceful and aesthetically pleasing than the straight line 90 degree shoulder grind, at least to my eye. Beautiful stags & horn.

I used a high intensity LED flashlight for lighting. I had taken other pics but none of them looked as good as the knife does in hand so I tried a couple of different lighting methods to see if I could catch the colors and fire in the awabi (abalone). This pic caught the colors well.

I'm still canoeing .......

Those two are outstanding. What's the top, the "antique green" jigged? I think I have a doc's knife in the same pants.

Case lists the color on the Homecoming Canoe as olive green.

How about some "evergreen"?

A wonderful collection of 'beans, Squach. Some real nice stag in those last two posts, but I love that (burnt? second cut?) bone Case Collector 'bean most of all.

Only have two Canoes. Roosters. (Celebrated mark)
Frank Buster called these "New Style Canoe with Spear and Skinning Blade"
2 Blade, 2 Back-springs, Bar Crest shields, Short curved Striker Pulls.
Pink Snake Skin Cracked Pearl and a Light Green with Tan Horizontal Stripes.
Both Mfg.in 1989. 300 of each produced. Both have "Black Etch"
Celluloid still holding up.
I paid $35.00 each in 1990 at the Ca. Knife Expo in Pasadena Ca.

I love Frank Buster and the Fightin' Rooster knives. That pair you posted are outstanding!!!!

I'm with Ivoryman, that green striped canoe is real eye candy.

I only have two Fightin' Rooster canoes (so far)......and I might be reposting one or both of these...not sure.

Old folder those sure are gorgeous, Charlie's as well. Hope that cell stay good. It scares me to death to think about what that stuff can do to a piece of steel.
