Resurrecting this old thread to add a most unique old bolster.

I believe the center "stone" is a piece of meteorite!

I had to have this one, blade not in very good condition but I have never seen a fish knife with these bolsters before! 8)

Great old thread. The first one is an Imperial shell handled Barlow that I customized by converting it from shell handles and made new liners and bolsters. The bolsters were elongated to exaggerate their length, and faceted. Handle material is elk stag. Second is a Keen Kutter jack with stamped bolsters.
