What are those scales, and what blade steel is that bugger ? I've seen them, but don't know too much about them.

I also know very little about them. ......scales are micarta..I believe.

I'll tell ya guys when she bites like that she's going to be a good one..with the seraded edge all your wire stripping is on the end of the blade and afta ten hours my hands are tired but the S30V is still sharp,touched her up on the botton of a coffee cup good to go fishing.Heres supper

Work EDC and the ZDP189 steel gets scary sharp.

Just picked up a Spyderco Delica.. Black frn, vg-10.. Had an old Stainless AUS 8 Delica that I gave a friend that became a Pgh Police Officer so I was yearning for another Delica.. Its clipped in my RFP as I type!! John

Just before I clicked in to read the latest posts, I was wondering why we have two EDC threads. Thanks for waking me up Scott. Eleven pages and I've just now (with your help) come to the realization this thread is for Modern Tactical EDC. Duh!

My work day companions **** They are so easy to use on the tape,boxes,bands, ect.--that I cut every working day !!!!!

....and another Spyderco.. Dragonfly2.. FRN Black, vg-10 steel.. This thing is sooo sharp that when I went to shave the hair on my arm, the hair just jumped off in fright!! Am loving these spydies!!

Great knives Guys . my favorite ECD for the last 5 years has to be the Pardue knife, spyderco is my weekend knife.
