That is one fine ad knife. I'm in love. The owner apparently loves it more than anyone else. ::teary_eyes::

MB, I'm not sure that's the same knife, although it very well may be. The photos are different and as I recall the subject knife sold for just under $400.00.

I'll recheck....................................................................checking...checking.....checking........OK.

Different seller, too.

Here's the original auction link.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-Antique-c- ... 231733ea95

It sold for $360.00. Maybe the purchaser is trying to turn a quick profit. Bully for him. Of course, if it is the same knife, the current seller is somewhat less than honest.

This is a bit old...I looked at the pics from both auctions. It appears to be the same knife. What does that mean?? Dunno. ::shrug::

Just thought it was interesting.

This old H.S.B. knife has alot going for it. Union Stock Yards Chicago Ills. went out of business back in the 50's. This was also where Jack Knife Ben knives were sold. Then the livestock sales man, J.M.Douds was Mamie Eisenhowers brother. I had two of these and donated one to the Mamie Eisenhower museum in Boone Iowa.

I'm afraid I had to group shots but this all I have at the moment aside from one ivory scaled Ibberson that I forgot to take pictures of. In most cases I only pictured the most interesting side.
