All About Pocket Knives

Here's one you've probably never seen before. Not in any catalog I have access to, it has a long line stamp. No pattern stamp.

Nice looking Camillus Jerry ... I’m developing a soft spot for Camillus that has been coming on for a few years and for a few reasons - I am so easily influenced by nice knives

That little Empire is just plain beautiful, Lee. A very nice knife and nice picture too.

Joe - Three classic old dog-legs and like the variety of handles ... Guess the bone on the Queen is what you would call winter bottom bone?

Greg - Nothing like a big old Empire dog-leg ... The clip blade looks massive and with an etch - nice cocobolo handle too ... I can't quite make out the etch - what does it say??

Here is one I got recently. Honk Falls. Great thread. these knives feel pretty good in the hand. I can see why so many different manufacturers offered them.

Lee that says Empire Knife Company over Our Best over Winsted Conn. Nice and chunky at 3 3/4!

Wow, James, a Honk Falls dogleg. I hardly ever see a Honk Falls. It was nice just to see the stamp.

Thanks Lee and Joe. I really like the knives that came from the Connecticut makers like that empire. The Sheffield cutlers that worked in those factories had so much skill. You can see the quality. The Honk also is made very well, strong snap and very solid.

Nice Joe - I have to say Robeson had some of the nicest bone on their knives - consistently good and many had my fav of worm groove or Indian Trails
