Beautifully carved handle - actually quite intricate given the design ... no doubt fruit knives out of Sheffield had some of the most beautiful handle work of all knives (maybe some Sheffield quills are close ... BTW - I checked the hallmark on the blade - I only did so because I just was doing it for another sterling knife of mine out of Sheffield - anyway yours looks like 1906 but note the last box with the dating mark has only 3 corners angled when I checked 1906 - yours looks like all corners are cut/angled with the "O" in the middle BUT I can't find another that looks like yours - however you may be right as I always have a tough time decoding these old knives ...

Here's something out of the ordinary.

These are salesman samples of fruit knife handles, two handles front and back in case the back was smooth or had a design on it.
