A few more reports of injuries at the Walden Knife Co. All of these are from Warwick newspapers between 1909 and 1919. Also one mixed in there about Walden knives on the Lusitania.

All the below news listings is from the accumulation of posted news stories from: June 1884, through: January 1927 published from two newspapers, "Gazette & Courier" and "Turner Falls & Reporter." All related to accidents within the John Russell Cutlery Company.
These injuries are written within the book. I am sure that many other accidents occurred at JRCC but just never made it in print.
The book is also a wonderful guide to the history of John Russell Cutlery.

the website is Fultonhistory.com ,I sometimes have trouble getting on the website, when you get on the correct site it will have a goldfish swim across the screen a stick his tongue out at you.You then click to do a search,at the left will be a search area , below it I search for" the exact words",then enter what your looking for and click " search". You will get zero to a thousand hits.Select a newspaper and it will show up on the screen to the right, the words you searched for should be highlighted in color (but not always). Owner is Tom Tryniski and it is free to use.

Thanks knifegnome. I have tried Fulton History and previously only got to the old postcard page. This did allow me to search historical newspapers, but, I could not figure out how to clip an article out of them in a readable fashion. I just now tried again and get to a link to Fulton History through the New York public library, it is a lot better than the postcard page, but no goldfish swimming across the page. I will keep trying.

I often have trouble getting to the website, try this, type in fultonhistory.com and then search, scroll down and wikipedia should be there, click on wikipedia and should bring up information on fultonhistory, scroll down a little and you should see fultonhistory.com highlighted in blue, click on that and it should bring you to the goldfish. Not sure why it takes so much work to get to the website. Good luck.

I have one I’ve been trying to figure out for a while now. I can’t get anywhere with it. Maybe someone here can figure it out.
I found a vague reference to a Randall dive knife mentioned in a newspaper article. Florida Today Dec 7,1975. I’d love to read this article.

I do a lot of research online pertaining to my family history through Ancestry.com, Fold3.com (Military) and Newspapers.com.
I was able to pull up your request. The article is posted below.

Great site isn't it.
I can spend hours reading through these papers even after I find out what i'm looking for.
I'm sure you know what I mean.

Sorry about the "gaps" in the print. It's the way it was copied on the site.
