Lot's of nice letter openers here for sure!
I only have a few but picked up two more yesterday. I liked the leather with SAAB logos so couldn't resist them.

Several years ago, Ray (Knife7Knut) made this one for me (thanks Ray). Pretty cool and it works great.

Glad you like it Jerry. Haven't done any of those in quite awhile;may have to get some more stock and make a few.For those that don't know what it represents;it is a replica of the style of paint brush I use in my work that is known as a sword striper. I made them out of 1/2" thick optical grade Lexan that a friend of mine used to supply me with.Cut the blanks out with a saber saw using a laminate blade(cuts on the down stroke so it don't fuse the material back together)and form them using a 1" x 30 " belt sander and finish them with wet sandpaper.Wrap the electrical wire around to simulate the brush hair wrap and polish with a buffer and Mother's Mag wheel Polish by hand.
Here are a few of my Lexan projects including the hood ornament(lighted from the bottom)on my 1955 Pontiac.

I have posted the Remington and RCA letter openers pictured below in other forums in the past.
I'll add one more and group them all together here in the "Letter Opener" post.
A RCA Advertiser letter opener with a miniature "Electron Tube" within the handle. In 1920 RCA began the first commercial "Electron Tube" manufacturing, also called "Vacuum Tubes."
I have seen ballpoint pens with pictures that change when you invert them but I have never seen them in other items before. They are normally referred to as "Floaties"
This celluloid handled opener must have been designed by a hunter.

That celluloid handled opener is beautiful! Looks like it may have been made by Whitehead & Hoag.

This is my one and only real letter opener, a Queen, a birthday present from my son last year. I believe it is a '52-'55 stamp.

Thanks Ray.
Unfortunately, no maker marks.

When I googled the Brokers company, all that came up was a current day Target Dept. store attempting to sell me life insurance. Target has their foot in everything.

Nice openers guys! Here's the two I own. No markings on the sword. The bayonet is marked Pauroux fr-Chexbres. and made in Switzerland. I've often wondered if it fit a model gun.

Found one more:
Hammer Brand U.S.A. (Imperial) shell handles and hollow bolsters, steel liners. c-1938.
5-1/4" closed, 1-3/4" with half stop with a long pull pen blade. Some age spots but never sharpened.

This is mine, it’s a 1954 model and it’s opened thousands of letters without problems (sorry, I’m in one of those moods today

).
Not sure why it’s upside down but that’s okay!

YEAH! I have one of those too and when I use it to open envelopes I usually get a paper cut.
Here is one I picked up the other day for $8.

Here is a letter opener that you won't see floating around that often. It is from the 1930's. The name on it is "Fritz Kuhn." He was the leader of the German-American Bund, which became "Freunde des neuen Deutschland" or Friends Of The New Germany, in the United States (based in New York). He is the guy that staged the huge rally at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Plenty of info on him on the net. The opener is entirely non magnetic. I think it may be silver, but can't find any markings. It measures approx. 8 1/2" long and was made in Cincinnati, Ohio. I obtained this in the early 1990's.
