They come as a 2 bladed 'Trapper' or this single clip version .... really pleased with these (always a bit of a gamble buying sight unseen)

I like both handle materials, but generally prefer stag. How is the walk & talk on those two? My experience is that S&M is notoriously inconsistent in that regard. For example, each of these #69 Barlows is slightly different; the wharnie being the best but the only one without a half stop. The sheepfoot is the worst with a pinched & grainy feel when opened. The clip blade has the best overall fit & finish. So strange to have that much variation between knives that are supposedly all made in the same shop.

I find this new RR toenail pretty impressive. The bone scales are ideal for scirmshaw work, but I am not.

Ken, that Schrade 51OT is one of my favorite patterns, great knife, I had to retire mine because of 20 years worth of EDC wear.

Thanks wazu ... and QTCut yep I've had the same experience with patchy minor variances But both these are "sweet as a nut".

Never saw one of those before. NICE!

Mr. Blister, That thing reminds me of my EDC 6275 Moose! It is a shame such a neat Remington had a broken clip blade. I know it ruins the knife's value but reshaping it is a great way to make a very practical save. The Warncliff shaped blade is so handy!

These three showed up this week. Top to bottom....
Queen #66 Muskrat 4" - Funny about this one. The previous owner only used one blade. The blade not shown is worn more than the other.
Camillus #72 3.5" - This one needed a lot of help. Looks like the main blade side probably had wobble and someone squeezed it in a vice. I had to work the pin down and clean up the vice marks. Too bad the main blade on this one has no snap. The spring doesn't even move when the blade is opened and closed.....but....it's really sharp.
Queen #2 Serpentine Jack 3.25" - Blades are worn but do have nice walk & talk.

They didn't break the bank so no worries with these three.
PS.....I know a lot of you guys like the 72 so here's another pic in all it's glory.

2007 #53 Cuban in Polished Buffalo Horn, it was a gift from a friend on another forum.

Here are 2 very fine knives both from ebay and both from esteemed AAPK members as i learned only after paying.
First is a Camillus made bone Sta-Sharp, 9455(i think) 3 5/8" 2 blade Gunstock in excellent condition, perfect W&T, zero play, just a Great knife. likely 1930's production & rare to find a Sta-Sharp in this good condition.
Second is a Wester Bros, well made vintage German 3 3/8" Pen knife, almost stout enough to be a double end Jack. Wester Bros and Wester & Butz are top quality vintage German knives. Might have been lightly buffed but is basically never used.
You always get a good knife buying from other collectors. Thank you guys.

KJ those are two outstanding and beautiful vintage folders The Camillus GS SS with flat end cap, rat tail bolster, etch CRAFTSMAN still visible and beautiful jigged bone is a real catch! The Wester Bros is no slouch either! I love single spring opposite end Jacks. The blade function is harder to get right with a single spring. You scored two very desirable folders--well done Lloyd

Very nice, KJ! I have a Wester and Butz pearl pen that is obviously high quality. Does anyone know how those Germans made the 'pressed stag' covers?
