Been busy working on rebuilding the engine in a hotrod of mine, so my knife acquisitions had to be curtailed a bit and mad money redirected into parts and tooling. But I managed to squeeze in a couple or four beauties. A 8801 Heritage, a Schrade/USA 8OT, 127UH, and what is supposed to be a 8OTB w/ bone scales. It's a whole lot alike the 8801, but has a 8OT blade, no shield, and the scales more rounded off.

Forgot to add this goodie to my group above. It's out of my target group of OTs and UHs. Didn't have a TL-29 style frame yet and been eyeballing some of the Schrade 204s that have been popping up on feebay. Noticed a lot of em are stamped SCC and I like to collect any of the Schrades with the Camillus mark. Picked this one up for cheap, and was expecting to see the SCC stamp. Got it in to find it's marked as a Camillus 27. Not disappointed mind you, just unexpected. I know Camillus made a lot of Schrade knives, but was it common for Schrade to just rebox a Camillus knife?

I don't collect Buck Knives, I've only got one other, but this one caught my eye. Now, I do have to admit to a fondness for MOP.
Thanks Mr. Mailman

The latest additions to my collection.
The gunstock is much bigger than I expected, even bigger than the Schrade Bigtimer. I love it!
The little Gerber is shaving sharp. The case 54 is just for size comparison.

Nice, I have that set except for 3. The Razor Barlow is impossible.
I never noticed the 6347 had 3 back springs.

Kerry, Steve and I have been discussing the back springs on the 6347s. I've got a few from back in the 70s that only have two back springs. I recently picked up a more modern amber bone 47 and discovered it had the three springs instead of the two I was expecting. Does anyone know when Case went from two to three springs on these 47 stockman knives ?

My oldest 6347 is from 1982, it has two springs. The rest of my 6347's are newer and have three springs. I don't know when they changed.
