Yeah...I know how you feel...I'm having similar problems myself!!
Beautiful knife by the way.

I've got the same problem with a guy who went off his meds and is now afraid we are all mad at him. He's hiding and we all told him its okay but he won't listen. A real shame because he is extremely talented.
There aren't that many knife makers in Belgium so he can probably afford to take his time.

I realize it is two different people with two different reasons. Waiting is still aggravating regardless of reasons.

Marty, the closed length is 3 1/4", the overall length with the master blade open is just over 5 1/2", but I believe the master blade is 1/4" or so short. Paul, I really like that Shapleigh jack with the caplifter blade.

The 15th edition of the Price Guide to Collector Knives just calls it a serpentine jack and lists it at $300 in mint condition. It is only the second Cattaraugus I have and I have no idea how rare it is in that pattern or blade configuration. I have a Cattaraugus book on order which should be here any day.

Got a couple Bokers in the mail today...one is a beautiful USA Boker New Britain era cigar from Rangerbluedog (thanks Ricky)....and the other is a 8586 that has had a hard life from the looks of it...a first rate tackle box carry for sure..
(note the cool initials on the bolster of the cigar)...I like that sort of stuff on a knife..

Hey Phil_______take a look at the ""2011 Blade Forums Knife""____

I'm not a member,of that forum, but the knife looks very much, like the knife that Paul, has. The knife is to be made by, Great Eastern Cutlery, so it should be a very well made knife.

Hey Monk thanks for that info.
I'm a member but please don't tell anyone!
I'd withdraw my membership but they'd change me an exit fee.
Great looking knife.

That blade forum knife is going to be a great knife. Hopefully GEC will add
this to their line up.
