mqqn. Normally I don't gravitate towards low light shots, but you nailed it, excellent colors for it. And love those #34s. That's about the closest to old Schrade Peach seed I've ever seen. Love that knifeSquach, great fungus in the crotch shot. Nice Boker equal end too.

Thanks, Ike. We have a pretty large persimmon tree in a field in front of our house. I had to really search to find three persimmons. A trail camera shows why. There aren't many animals around the tree in the day, but at night there are always a few deer & since they all visit frequently, they've chosen a small hemlock that they all sniff, some bite a little foliage & right next to it is a patch of bare soil about six feet across where they paw the ground. Several times we've seen bucks fighting. A red fox visits most nights, often two gray foxes come together, racoons are regulars, possums & a coyote come occasionally & we've seen one armadillo. They don't leave many persimmons for me.

Thank you, too, Ivoryman. I agree. It's some of Case's best-looking bone, in my opinion.

It's a Boker Club Expedition series. There are two varieties, they are 3 3/4" closed single blade cigar jacks. The one you asked about has brass bolsters, brown canvas micarta handles, and an N690 stainless blade. The sister (pictured below) is the same dimensions but has copper bolsters, brown burlap micarta handles, and an acid washed 01 tool steel blade. I believe they offer a single blade trapper in both varieties as well. You can find them at SMKW.

It was a rainy day yesterday but the Mighty Canine Muscle Missile and I got out for a walk between showers.
