This Queen #14 peanut came today. Early 1960's.
Queen called this pattern a Dogleg up until 1977 then they changed it to Peanut.
A bit different than a case peanut. Queen put the main clip on the mark side and the pen on the pile side.

Picked up a couple 8OTs this week. Like Paul/Knifeslinger says... can't have enough 8OTs
Oddly enough, this is my first Schrade/USA 8OT saw cut Delrin to acquire. And picked up a bone 8OT the seller claims it is a 8OTB. Seen the 8OT RB versions in red bone posted here on the forums, but this one appears to be brown bone. Anybody ever seen a 8OTB before?

Thanks Joe. Since Canal Street went out of business I've had to look elsewhere. These are the closest to CS I've been able to find.

dweb 1897,
That's some fancy stuff! I guess you don't allow any of those three folders to ride around in your pocket!
Very nice.

dweb, love that whittler. bdev love both of those. Score. Had to sell a few to cover this, hope it's as good as they were, so far so good, probably the best stag I have.

Yup, thanks for the compliments. It's a Tim Britton, N. Carolina. Can't say enough good about the guy. Check 'em out.

You and big-H really need to leave some for the rest of us!
Was disappointed to get a total lemon from Case on the Tribal-Lock -- it's going back to the dealer for a swap or a refund. I did end up with a couple keepers in recent days, at least. The first two are from AAPK's very own Muskrat man.

All nice. Boker made a good barlow. What was wrong with the Tribal lock?

I am realistic about Case's QC but the Tribal Lock I received was unacceptable.

Gapped liners, blade tip polished down to nub (probably a whole batch like this), blade rub against one liner so bad the knife wouldn't snap fully shut...

I'm still waiting on fulfillment for another pre-ordered Tribal Lock in a different handle style, so I am hoping for better luck on the second one.
Tony should be upset that his initials are on this run if this is representative of the QC in 2017.

There is iron in your words. Price going up, QC going down, value getting further and further away from the reputation and expectation. That's why I quit buying anything new from Case. Burned me too many times. Very sad but true.
