It's been a bit since I've posted in here. But I had an SFO knife made for my family and since it was a maple syrup themed knife, I set up this photo for it. I think it turned out nice.

I'm just catching up on this thread. So very many fine knives.
geocash, those two German buffalo horn knives are fine examples. I am assuming that the Henckels is also Buffalo Horn. Selfishly, I am glad that not too large number of people collect German knives. They leave more for us.
Thanks. And yes, the Henckels horn is the same.
I'd say I have more Case knives than anything else, then Queen & several others made in the U.S.A., most of which are no longer around or at least no longer made in the U.S.A. But I also have found Olbertz, Klaas, Henckels, Bertram, Boker & Scheliper knives that I really like. I'll keep quiet about them.

Thanks geo, appreciate it.
Squach and Rookie, those babies are great pics. Calendar shots. Love the pocket watch and the breakfast with that knife poised to do damage to whatever needs cut on the plate. That is great stuff. Keep 'em coming people. Love this thread.

I won this Boker Magnum Sgian Dubh in a FB give away. It came with an acceptable sheath. The knife itself is impressive. Micarta handle. The blade is 4.65” of 440A steel.

Thank you. Don’t know what I’ll use it for, other than admire it.

geocash, your BD is very appealing from the stag to the dimpled and lined bolsters. Handsome.
