This became one of my favorites, it's small but just has a lot going on.
Really pretty translucent peach seed jigged bone, a nice RR emblem, blade etch , horseshoe tang stamp, and kool looking bolster stripes that liken itself to a rattlesnake. All in a 3" toothpick, what's not to like! Model 1568 from 2015.

Very cool Nev. I have one just like it and you're gonna like that knife. I ALMOST went with the red one since it's so bright and colorful, but ultimately my "black" monkey took over and I got the black.

Honestly it’s a tool you could cut and split a cord of wood in matter of minutes

Well, if I was still lumberjackin' I could see buying one, but since my wood splitting days are behind me I'll have to pass!

While not Rough Ryder, I have replaced two of their Marbles brand knives under warranty for a broken backspring.
The first, a 8 to 10 year old pre "MR" number MR409 "US" Hawkbill, that was fine when I put it in a wood cigar box (blade closed) a couple months before I had a "minor" (doctor's term) stroke. 2 years after the stroke I was able to get the cigar box, and bring it and the knives to the assisted living facility I am at now (and probably for the rest of this life.) When I took the knife out of the cigar box, the backspring was broken. I sent them an email with a picture. They sent me a new MR409 (with the "MR"number). They did not want the broken knife.
The second was a new in hang pack MR278 "G.I. Utility Knife"/Demo Knife with a no MR number Marbles SPORK.
A "genius" in marketing decided it would be a "good" idea to have all four blades 1/4 to 1/2 way open. Naturally one of the backsprings was broken before the package was opened. Another email with picture, they sent a replacement MR278, with SPORK, even though I told them there was nothing wrong with the SPORK. They only wanted the broken MR278's back if the replacement MR278 arrived with a busted backspring.
I did not have to pay shipping for either replacement.
Yes. Both knives were under $7.⁰⁰ retail. The MR409 Hawkbill was closer to $5.⁰⁰ than $6.⁰⁰ when I bought the first one. It might have been $4 and change, I forget.

Well, I recently received this stamped Rough Rider linerlock but no pattern number is visible anywhere so it may be a counterfeit!
8" oal with black composite cover inserts, and stamped "Rough Rider" just to the left of the stud.

Another cool knife, ebrandwein! Here’s my RR Classic Micarta Sowbelly.

I like that sowbelly, Tim! One of those is high on my list of Rough Ryder wants.

I'd been meaning to get a Rough Ryder "family portrait" for a while, and I finally did.
From left to right, we see: the RR2169 "blue mule" small toothpick, a pair of RR1949 smooth blue bone Canoes, a pair of RR2346 "faded blue jeans" Micarta half hawks, a pair of RR2336 "tater skin" burlap Micarta Congresses, and a RR1903 miniature Spanish notch Bowie. There is also a RR2321 "buckshot bone" knife pick thrown in for good measure.
