All About Pocket Knives

I purchased the Western scout knife shown below from TripleF (Scott). Today when I opened the package, not only did it contain the Western knife I bought but also a very nice Imperial scout knife and the cool little lanyard made from paracord and a 1/2 inch socket. Scott knows I have a weakness for those old scout knives. Thank you so much my friend. Steel salute.

You can't beat ole Scott with a stick, he takes care of his aapk buddies, I too salute him, by the by good looking knives.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SCOTT ! ! ! ! ! !

I just got "bombed" by my son tonight. He came in after being out for the day and presented me with a set from SOG:a Micro Toolclip and a Centi II. Of course I had to scramble around to find a coin to give him(tradition you know).A nice surprise and something that looks like it will come in handy. Both are small enough to fit on a key chain and I think will find their way into my sign kit to replace my Leatherman Wave.

Dag gone it Scott I didn't even know it was your birthday. Had I known, I'd have baked a cake and ate it. (Shipping to Fla. is prohibitive) Hope it was a goodn' anyhoo.

I was bombed yesterday by Scott [TripleF] with this splended old CAMCO barlow. The icing on the...knife was its very fine patina. A great barlow. Thanks again Scott.

I thought all that was in my package today were three schrade lb7's, but once I started cleaning up the packaging everywhere I noticed some bubble wrap with a tie on it. Low and behold a wonderful little sta sharp pearl pen knife!(maybe lobster? I'm not sure) Roland ya bombed me good, much appreciated my friend! It is used just enough that it will do no harm to make it a fine little off work carry knife.

The Colonel (Old Hunter) reached back in his bag of tricks and bombed me with this Colonial Anvil. I had admired the handles on one in another thread so I guess he decided I needed one to further my "one of everything" accumulating philosophy. As you can see, it's in excellent condition, very close to how it came out of the factory. Very snappy and I especially like the handles. Thank you Colonel. Very thoughtful of you and I appreciate your generosity, very much!

BTW, it's a four incher.

It weren't me Scott. It was the real deal gin-u-wine Colonel, Bruce that that bombing. Excellent both ways I might add, bother bomber and bombee. And a good looking knife to boot.

I may have to go to the hospital. I got hit again. Squirrel (aka Rocky or to the new folks "AREMINGTONSEDGE"), sent me a 1963 Miracle Whip (made by Schrade). I already had the '63 but the one Squirrel sent is in better condition. Always good to upgrade the collection. Thanks a bunch Squirrel. You've got one super appreciative old Jarhead on your hands here.

Makes me think of the store out on the main road where I grew up. The guy who owned it made sandwhiches and wrapped them in wax paper for you. He'd slice bologna off the log as thick as your hand, then slice field American cheese on the same sliver. Then he'd take Sunbeam King Thin bread and slather it in Miracle Whip and put the sand which all together.

If you didn't want miracle whip you had to speak up quick, because it was standard!

Neighbor any thing else on a boloney and cheese samidge wood be a sacrilege.
