Not yet, but I do plan to try and carve a bear of some sort out of it. It is a nice piece of spruce and I really need to just make time to get at it. Thank you again, by the way, for sending that to me. I have not forgotten about it, just always seem to get preoccupied with other projects. I hope you are doing well.

Allow an introduction by way of an admission of a mild case of insanity....
It all started innocently enough.... a #73 in Ebony
Then it began to progress.... a #12 in Ivory
Now let's just say I'm waiting on a #85.... Cocobobo
And a #66.... Rotten Banana Bone
And a #33.... Buffalo Horn
And a #72.... Cocobolo
And a #26.... Ivory
And a #68....Snakewood
And another #73.... Cocobolo (Actually, this one arrived Saturday!)
Aaaaaaand a #36.... Burnt Stag
I got it bad!

Actually, they've changed the name of the disease--it's now called "Big Monk Syndrome".
Nice stuff, AKC. It looks like you might actually be carrying that ivory Powderhorn--if so bravo!
If not, bravo anyway. That's one of the classiest looking factory knives made.

Great start AKC!! As always, I'm a fan of the #48s Gino and Earl, great looking walnut on those #73s!!
I was able to pick up this #33 with coping blade from Trevor and this #73EC arrived today. Both are 1 of 3.

Nice'n Earl....I liked it so much I just ordered one before they got gone . I don't usually collect many 23's but I'm a sucker for a short run and a pretty color. I guess we know at least 3 are sold. Your picture is what put me over the edge, so Mike owes you a cold one.

Thanks Russell. I've got my share of 1 blade 23's not many 2 blades so I gave this one the once over and the quality is just sick for the price........sure can tell the folks at GEC have made a ton of this pattern,big knife,slick build
