John Friese Baltimore, 4 1/2 inches alligator snap, really a chunky piece of stag. Probably 1800s, never have found any information on it? Has been posted in another thread.Thanks for looking.

Thanks John, I have had it for a few years now. One person’s opinion was maybe he was a well to do guy that had it made special with his name on it? The other thought someone had was there was a knife factory like Wostenholms Washington Works but it was called Baltimore Works?? I imagine I will never know the answer. It is one of my favorites though!! Thanks John.

There is a Baltimore in West Cork, Ireland. That sure looks like a British Isles knife, integral bolsters, thick stag, rat-tails, etc. Cool knife, cool mystery.

Those two are fine. Incredible looking stag. Wow has that aged well.
