We went to Brice creek today for a little swimming, too cold to stay in long. The berries were crazy, saw huckleberries, native blackberries (the "normal" ones are invasive Himalayan), salal, Oregon grape, wild strawberries, thimble berries, rosehips, wood sorrel.
The plates have a knife I made 25 years ago and one Rose finished today (still needs a kydex sheath).

Very nice set of photos, Thistle. Beautiful crick, handmade knives, healthy vittles!
Too hot for hiking in my woods, but you look prepared, John.

Great lineup of pictures. Bonus points for hitting the trifecta: Scenery, knives and food.

I didn't know you needed a reply bc u didn't quote me. Do you know when you quote someone, they get a notification? Not trying
to be a smarty pants.....just asking.
It's a IHK Indy Hammered Knives knife for their handle your own. Of course I couldn't do it so one of the fellows here bailed me out!!
It's strong and lightweight!!

So sorry to hear about the loss of your cat. They definitely become family.
Once again, great pictures and nice haul on the berries.

They didn't make it in any pictures but also caught a bunch of small bluegill (think they were pumpkinseeds actually).
