Well ya see, Mel. My philosophical approach to that issue is this. Of the four Camillus #14s, I only have one each of a bone handle #14, a Brownstag (rough brown) #14, and different tang stamps on each of the two Indian Stag #14s. There's at least one thing about each of the knives in that folder that's different from all the rest. That's how I justified it with these knives. Am I absolved?

Okay - I just did not understand! And I am really happy that you are a collector instead of a hoarder. I do not think a person needs an intervention unless they check Ebay more than twice a day to see if anything new has posted in their area of hoarding.

Looks like I may have touched a nerve with the two times a day comment. Maybe that is why I have such a hard time finding knives I like at a price I like: I just do not check often enough!

Good point! Even brand new knives will have some difference. Like in a numbered limited edition of 500, one knife may be stamped 98 and another 225 and another 337 ... each one is different, right?

Oh goodness sakes, lookee here. Cuz & Valerie (Colonel26 - Wade & wife) got their heads together and decided I needed one just like the one they have (that's right Cuz. Valerie is now officially an equal partner in your collection). He's like a kid at Christmas and had to tell me something was coming but I NEVER expected this. It's one of those yellow jigged Delrin Queen City #19 trappers. It looks a whole lot better in person than it does in pictures and I thought it looked great in pictures.
