Ooooh, I feel your pain. Sometimes I sleep like a baby, up every two hours. Days like today I wake up at 0300 and can't go back to sleep. Once in a while I get a straight eight hours and it feels like a gift from God.
Have you tried the new product ZZZQuil? Made by the same folks who bring you that fine Cold & Flu relief, NyQuil. Supposed to be non-habit forming.

You're right about that, Dale. Gettin' old ain't for sissy's.
With the two hour time difference I would have had to get up at 0200 to beat you Dale but I didn't get up until 0300.
Do you know why they call it zero 300?
Because not a damn thing is going on at three o'clock in the morning!!

Glad you could make it Colonel. Did you go to church first? Preacher must have had something to do today 'cause he kept it real short this morning.
How my dad could do that, in his full steam ahead evangelical way, for an hour and sometimes more was always a puzzle to me.

Jerry - you outed me on a public forum! I played heathen this weekend; I hunted yesterday and last night we drove down to our condo at Atlantic Beach, just relaxing. I've been watching the Viet Nam in HD special on the History Channel for the past few hours - you guys lived through hell on earth. OH

Jerry, that is usually not the problem, if you know the material and have a passion about it.
The hard part is keeping it short enough!
In college we were taught that the human attention span lasts about 20 minutes, and that was what we were to shoot for is 20 minutes. Much harder than it sounds; far easier to go longer.

Colonel -- Contrary to what my parents believed, I don't think missing one Sunday is going to hurt you, or even two or three. Just the opinion of a real heathen.
Dale -- Dad never went to college or even high school. He only had an eighth grade education and as I've mentioned in another thread, started preaching when he was 14 years old. While he was under-educated, he was by no means uneducated.
His style of preaching was Evangelical, southern, old camp meeting, tent revival and when he preached for an hour or more, he preached hard for the whole time so my comments were more about the physical strain of delivering a sermon and not about the theological content of the sermon. He liked to say delivering two sermons on a Sunday was like working a 40 hour week.

Up and at 'em. Boots on the deck. Places to go, things to do, people to see. Come on people. Lets see those bright shining eyes.
While you're doing that, I think I'm going to go back to bed to see if I can get the rest of my night's sleep.
Edit: Mornin' Scott

Mornin' boys! I slept in this morning after driving back from Tulsa last night. Got in about 12:30 AM and boy oh boy, it was nice to sleep in my own bed!
I gotta tell you that everyone should have the Tulsa show on the old bucket list. It is a grand event. Words just can't do it justice. There are 4100+ tables and I'd estimate that about a third of them are knives or knife products. So much to see and so little time!
I stayed very busy at my table and sold a lot of knives. My model 12 Winchester in 28 ga did not sell and that was my only disappointment. Not disappointing enough to spoil the show experience, tho.
It was a thoroughly(sp) enjoyable experience!
Gotta get my truck unloaded. Hope you all are having a great day.
