Yes it does. RR seems to have a knack for micarta. It’s got a good look, yet you can just about feel the underlying material

Nice pics, like the shells and the micarta and the other two above too. Good to scroll through for sure. ::tu:: ::tu::

Great shot Squach. You know that bunch of limbs positioned in that way looks to me like what they say Sasquach or Bigfoot types use for marking in the forest. The skeptics say the trees fall that way but I'v seen some that don't look like the trees all fell in to me. Very curious and cool photo. Love the Sasquatch stuff. It's hard for me to listen to Bob Gimlin tell his story about how they came upon the creature and it was washing something in the creek. Then it gets up and walks away while the horses are bucking and Roger Patterson gets the camera while Bob covers him with his rifle. Strange behavior for hoaxers.

Thanks but I doubt it was the salt air, not that it won't ruin your metal. But part of the beach here used to be a garbage dump and then they put a rail road though there and I'm pretty sure the spikes and metal were on the beach, in the water half the time when the tide was out, and wet and sandy the other half. They look like they've been soaking for at least a decade or two, maybe many more, but I'll watch it. Thanks.

Thanks for the compliment on the pics. Used to be a dump, then they cleaned most of it up but of course metal remains and can be regularly found. Beach glass too. But it's pretty much cleaned up and recovered. Nice beach now, just that people still find and remove metal regularly. I find spikes and chain links, huge nails, rebar etc. on my walks. But it's getting better all the time. Thanks again. I'll keep shooting beach shots just for you.

Thanks I-Man, ::handshake::... Hey... ::hmm:: ... maybe set some of that metal aside... maybe you could start a forge going and do some "forged in fire" with some of those railroad spikes...

Thanks Dan, actually I've thought about it. I have a buddy who just got a forge and has been trying to get me to come pound a blade out of an old rat tail file. I have been thinking about doing it. Maybe a spike would work for a blade too. Thanks for the encouragement.
