Another Friday waiting for the mail carrier for those addicted to sharp things and their accessories.
Good morning all. Now that I've done my morning bump duties, it's back to bed to see if I can get my second four hours of sleep.

Good morning gents, got that first cup sitting here. Today will be used for veteran activities - I will take my turn offering VFW Buddy Poppy's at WalMart this morning - hopefully people will donate and take one (if you see a VFW or Auxillary member with poppy's make sure to get one!). This afternoon my wife and I are attending the Veterans Day ceremony at the ECU campus. With Veterans Day falling on a Sunday it has split the activities - the university is having their ceremony today, the town is having one on Monday. OH
PS According to Field and Stream magazine tomorrow should be the peak day of the deer season. I have no idea if they are right about that, but I will have a better idea by Saturday night!

Mornin' boys, from scenic Tulsa, Ok. Today is set up day and I am told there is a lot of business done today. We'll see. I wish I could take some photos for posting but I am told that they frown on that. There are 11 acres of guns and knives under one roof. It is hard to imagine.
Hope that all of you have a great day.

Mornin' guys
Good luck Ray, Scott and OH
Frost on the ground again this morning. Think i'll wait till early next week to go fishing, when it's back up it the 50's for the low. It's tuff blasting across the lake at 40+mph in freezing temps, in a bassboat. I'll be doing it once winter completely sets in but until then, gonna wait on the warmer mornings.
Have a good day!

Mornin' boys, from the Tulsa Gun and Knife show. This is really something to see. More than can be imagined, almost. Yesterday was set up day for dealers and for some who bought early bird passes.
I probably sold more knives yesterday than I have at any previous show that I can recall. One dealer bought 24 Case knives. All that and a bag of chips!!
It will fun to see how today goes. Hope you all have a great day.

Good morning gentlemen.
The story goes, on November 10, 1775 when the Marine Corps was formed at Tun Tavern in Philadelphia PA they were signing up the first Marines and the first recruit in line got two free beers for enlisting. Well, there were quite a few in line to enlist so they decided if they continued to give away two free beers per recruit they would run out before enlistments were complete so when the second guy signed, he only got one free beer. So these two guys, the first to sign up and the second to sign up were standing there sipping on their free beer and the first new Marine turns to the second new Marine and says, "Back in the Old Corps, they gave us two free beers to enlist."
Semper Fi Marines. Happy 237th birthday.

Yeah Scott
We plan on doing just that, eventually. Right now we just travel to the mtn.'s, lakes, and beaches of the south east etc. When we can. It is much cheaper to go and camp rather than rent condos etc. in the long run. We can afford to stay muuuuuch longer when camping. Plus we enjoy it more having our own place with us. The new campers these days are like taking the house with you
