I met a guy who closed down his booth at an antique mall. ::hmm:: It sounds like he already sold off a lot of really good stuff, (I think I got the "more-worn" stuff), but being late is better than not getting any knives at all... ::hmm:: Some of the pick-ups were just what I wanted... ::nod::

Quite a haul there DOG !!
I think that big ol' Case cattle knife is a 94 pattern, if it's 4 - 3/16 inches. It looks way bigger than the 45-pattern.

Thanks Chris ::handshake:: ... ::hmm:: I think you are right that the Case cattle knife is a 94 pattern.

And also, thanks for the kind words from; Gtrclktr, CxIII (Tony), R&R & M&M ::handshake::

::hmm:: From the AAPK research link;

The first Case knife to have the pattern number 94 is a 4 3/16" cigar style, or equal end knife that was manufactured with two blades and three. Case started making them sometime prior to 1915. The three-blade version is often called a Cattleman's knife.

Had these waiting 2 big boys for me at my favorite store in town, and this little risque handle was thrown in as a bonus for being a good customer and probably the only guy in town interested in something so rusty.

Got ‘em both for under 55 bucks , the brown one is a 06247Pen- didn’t realize pen could be so big.

The rose jack must have been in a cardboard box that got wet, when bidding I thought it was actually messed up on one side- however lucky for me it cleaned right off.gonna try and sell jack on eBay for 40 bucks - hopefully

- Smith & Wesson 6062 ... early 80s, also with original sheath (this knife also came numbered 6061 with a clip point)
- G96 Jet-Aer Folding Hunter
- Parker "Rio Grande Camp Knife" Lockback Whittler
